With plants at the center

Djungelstugan is Kiruna’s leading flower shop, with a large catchment area and a broad target group. In connection with the relocation of the city centre, we had the pleasure of developing a new store interior with the lush offering in focus.

A dark and sober background emphasises the plants in the best way.
A neutral colour palette allows the plants and pots to take their place. Textured materials help to create an interesting and vibrant environment. The robust wooden display table also serves as a functional workshop table for workshops.

The previous premises were worn out and the interior design was not optimised for the store’s various activities. In the new environment, we therefore took the opportunity to create a flexible, robust and functional interior, where the magnificent plants come into their own.

Focusing on craftsmanship – The glass section behind the checkout counter allows customers to catch a glimpse of the florists’ craftsmanship as they work on larger arrangements in the workshop. Integrated height-adjustable workstations in the checkout counter allow simpler flower arranging to be done directly in front of the customer without compromising ergonomics.
The Flower Lounge - Djungelstugan is the shop that accompanies the customer throughout life, both the big and everyday events. For larger and more personalised arrangements, consultation becomes important. In the lounge, the customer is welcomed to sit down, be inspired and guided over a cup of coffee.
