After many years of planning work, the first steps are now being taken in the development of Ingelsta. As a destination hotel, the concept stands out from the existing range in the region. With its rich program, the hotel becomes both a meeting place and a destination in itself.
The entrance is reached via a small square next to the shopping centre. Here, guests are welcomed into a spacious lobby with bar and restaurant in an open, inviting environment. The restaurant features a large outdoor terrace overlooking a green, pine-covered hill – like a private, leafy park.
The hotel is located at Norrköping’s northern entrance, with direct access from the E4 motorway via a new exit from Stockholmsvägen. The location offers proximity to Kolmården Wildlife Park, Skavsta Airport and the city centre. A bus ride to Norrköping Central Station takes only ten minutes. The hotel is easy to reach – for both long-distance travellers and local visitors.
Upstairs, hotel guests can enjoy a spa and fitness area with direct access from the rooms. Adjacent to this is a flexible conference facility with access to both the entrance level and a rooftop terrace. Here, guests can soak up the sun, enjoy a drink at the outdoor bar, or challenge colleagues to social games and activities.
The building comprises approximately 10,000 sqm gross floor area (GFA), with a total of 170 rooms in four categories – from stylish standard rooms to exclusive suites. At the very top, a rooftop bar crowns the hotel, offering panoramic views of Norrköping, the Bråviken bay and surrounding nature reserves.
This new hotel will establish a dynamic hub in Norrköping – an urban node for business, relaxation and experiences.
