THE HEART OF SÖDERSTADEN
The development of Globen Shopping and the surrounding area is part of an urban development project that aims to realise the City of Stockholm’s vision for Söderstaden as “a vibrant, urban and content-rich city landscape”.
We are working together with Corem and a number of other actors and partners to develop Globen Shopping into an integrated meeting place and to find strategies for the development of businesses on the ground floors and urban life in the entire area. The goal is a sustainable and viable urban plan where existing and new structures are combined into a strong and attractive whole.
Part of the development work is a new detailed plan for Arenan 2, Globen Shopping. The plan includes the expansion and reconstruction of the shopping center with a new frontage towards the Slakthus area as well as the addition and reconstruction of offices.
Here, together with Corem and a number of other parties and partners, we are creating a vibrant, urban and content-rich urban landscape. The beating heart of Söderstaden.
