A LIFT FOR SERGELS TORG
The Sporren 16 property at Sergels Torg in Stockholm was built during the city’s transformation with a combination of offices and commercial buildings, and the department store EPA as the principal commercial tenant. Today H&M has a flagship store in the building, with its main entrance on the corner of Sergelgatan.
To make both the site and the building more inviting and brighter we have, together with property owners Axfast and H&M, produced designs to redevelop the corner site. Large windows open up the upper level to emphasise the space’s public character and make the store brighter and more welcoming. The design and details have been adapted to fit in with the building’s existing personality wherever possible.
